You can delete your LipiLearn account at any time. You don't need to ask us, and you don't need a reason.
Deleting your account signs you out everywhere, removes your email address from our records, and deletes the child profiles and learning progress attached to it. This page explains both ways to do it, and exactly what happens to your data.
1. Delete in the app
This is the quickest way, and it takes effect immediately.
- Open LipiLearn and go to Parent Zone from the home screen.
- Open Profile Information.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when asked.
You'll be signed out straight away and returned to the welcome screen. Your email address will no longer work for signing in.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can't reach the app — you've changed phone, uninstalled it, or can't sign in — write to us instead:
Send the request from the email address on the account, with the subject Account deletion request. Sending it from that address is how we confirm the account is yours; if you can't, tell us and we'll find another way to verify it before deleting anything.
We action requests within 7 days and email you when it's done.
3. What gets deleted
When your account is deleted we remove:
- your email address, and any phone number on the account
- your name and chosen avatar
- every child profile you created, including first names and avatars
- all learning progress, stars and scores for those children
- your sign-in sessions, on every device
Once deleted, none of this is recoverable by you, and none of it is visible to us.
4. What we keep, and for how long
Two things outlive the deletion, and both are required of us:
Payment and billing records. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, not by us, but we keep a record that a subscription existed so we can meet tax and accounting law. These records don't contain your name, email or card details. We keep them for as long as the law requires, typically seven years.
A short grace period. For 30 days after deletion we hold the account in a deactivated state, in case you tell us the deletion was a mistake and ask for it back. You cannot sign in during this time and the account is not in use. After 30 days it is permanently erased and cannot be restored by anyone, including us.
We keep nothing else, and we never sell or share your data.
5. Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and can only be cancelled through them:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › LipiLearn › Cancel Subscription
- Android: Play Store › profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › LipiLearn › Cancel
Please cancel there first, otherwise billing continues after your account is gone. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies.
